Georgia itinerary for 10 days: from Tbilisi to the Black Sea
A complete route to discover Georgia in 10 days: the capital, ancient Mtskheta, the Caucasus, the vineyards of Kakheti, Kutaisi and the Black Sea at Batumi. Organised and tailored by the Italian Chamber of Commerce.
A 10-day Georgia itinerary covers the essentials: three days in Tbilisi with Mtskheta, a day in the Caucasus at Kazbegi, a day among Kakheti’s wineries, Prometheus Cave and Gelati Monastery near Kutaisi, and three days in Batumi on the Black Sea. We shorten or extend the route to fit your dates.
Georgia is small: in 10 days you can cross it from east to west, from the capital Tbilisi to the Black Sea, without rushing. It is the length we recommend for a first visit.
The route combines cities, mountains, wine and the sea. You travel between Tbilisi and Batumi by train, by car with stops along the way, or on a domestic flight. Below is the day-by-day itinerary and what the organised trip with us includes.

With less time, in 7 days we drop Kutaisi and one day in Batumi. With 14 days we add Svaneti or more time by the sea. And if you’d rather focus on one city, see the Tbilisi tour or the Batumi tour.
